April also commissions embroidery pieces, such as custom pet portraits. You’ll find her at various makers' markets around Peterborough!

Her business started off as "April Embroiders," but in 2023 she wanted to give herself room to create beyond just embroidery. Thus, The Artful Apricot was born. (Apricot also has the same first four letters of her name, which is fun!)
